There are a few tips for best application to follow when using this facial sunscreen
It is impossible to completely solubilize Zinc Oxide in water. That means that the Zinc settles a bit at the bottom between uses. No biggie though. Right before use, the bottle requires a good shake so that the ingredients can be blend nicely for the application to come out sheer. A good method is to tap the bottle on the palm of your hand 5 or 6 times.
The mist applies best when sprayed from a bit of a distance (approx 6 – 8 inches from face). This is exactly the same for normal makeup setting sprays. Be mindful that if you spray too close to the skin, the white Zinc will be visible. But you’ll get the hang of it pretty quickly. About 6 pumps of the spray will be enough to cover your entire neck & face. There’s no need to pat the skin, it will dry in about 10-15 seconds. While I’m at it, I sometimes squirt the top of my hands because they show age real quickly too!
